Virginia Tech Shooting
A shooting accured today at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg Virginia which resulted in the loss of 32 lives. First and foremost, my heart goes out to the victims and their families. That being said, it is a right out shame that these young men and women had to die because they couldnt defend themselves from some crazy nut job by carrying on campus. If students or faculty members with a CCW had been able to carry a firearm for personal protection on campus, this could have turned out very different. Pelosi and the other gun grabbing liberals will be using this very tragedy against us law abiding gun owners by pushing for even stricter gun laws or gun bans. They want you to believe that if guns where banned this wouldn't have happened in the first place. WAKE UP FOLKS!!! These young men and women were denied their right to carry and to protect themselves in a "gun free zone" in favor of someone elses failed saftey policies. It is a sad day indeed... Again, my heart goes out to the victims and their families.

I could not agree more.
The decision to DENY everyone on campus their right bear arms is what caused this.
Over and over again, some fruitcake goes to a place where they know NO ONE IS ARMED to go on a shooting spree.
And instead of 'those who sleep better telling themselves GUNS cause violence' actually realizing that the LACK of guns in any given area drastically RAISES the crime rate, they just go on hating the guns.
And ignoring logic.
So very true. Had anyone been armed and capable, they could have downed that POS and fine young men and women would still be alive.
Those that brought this legislation into being HAVE to bear some of the responsibility of creating a condition where those that obey and respect the law, become victims.
